Having dedicated her life to working as a maid, Nina impulsively decided to go on a sightseeing journey to witness all the things she’d missed out on. And it was there that she met other “unfortunate” girls. Emily, a mage boasting enormous magical power but unable to control it well. Astrid, an inventor with brilliant intelligence but somehow never succeeding in her experiments. Tien, a moon wolf tribe member who couldn’t find suitable food and was always too hungry to use her strength. Thanks to the all-purpose maid Nina, these girls were able to realize their true potential. When their powers combined, they could easily match the level of a small army… but Nina would never come to know this.

This title is definitely a mouthful, but it pretty much tells you exactly what you're getting into! Of Course, It’s What a Maid Would Do. is a lighthearted romp that centers around a falsely accused maid who decides to strike out on her own and, unsurprisingly, ends up being incredibly capable.
First Impressions
From the very first chapter, I was hooked by the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. The premise is simple but charming: a maid, unfairly dismissed, embarks on an adventure, and it's all very cheerful and low-stakes. It sets the tone for a fun, easy read, and I found myself smiling quite a bit.
What Works Well
The biggest draw for me was the "overpowered maid" aspect. It's a fun twist on the typical fantasy protagonist, and the story does a great job of showcasing her abilities without making it feel forced or contrived. The humor is also on point, and the misunderstandings that arise from her competence add to the overall comedic effect. The story is very clearly defined, and the plot doesn't stray from the central premise.
