"I Came From The Mortal World" certainly piqued my interest with its transmigration premise and Xianxia setting. Diving in, I found a story with undeniable potential, but also some areas that gave me pause.

The initial chapters drew me in with a refreshing twist. Instead of the typical "starting from zero" trope, the protagonist already has a foundation in this new world. This immediately sets it apart and allows the story to jump right into the action, which I appreciated.
What Works Well
The world-building, so far, is quite promising. There's a clear sense of a larger world with its own rules and power structures. The author introduces cultivation early, providing a decent framework for the protagonist's growth. I particularly enjoyed the initial focus on family dynamics and the protagonist's desire to protect them. The early interactions and setup of the plot seemed well done.
