Description
My diary about secretly loving my sugar daddy was exposed. The cover is a hand-drawn portrait of Shen Shu Jing. The kind without a stitch on. I decisively ran away. He harshly commented: “I think there are still some problems with the story, many of the transitions are written very stiffly, come back and let’s practice and discuss it.” …… I see what you’re doing here.

My Thoughts on Huan Yi
"Huan Yi" grabbed my attention with its blend of comedy, drama, and romance, all wrapped up in a modern-day shoujo package. The tags – businessmen, childhood friends, secret crush – definitely piqued my interest, and I dove in hoping for a fun, lighthearted read. And for the most part, that's exactly what I got!
First Impressions
The initial setup is classic: a female lead navigating the complexities of modern life, complete with wealthy characters and a touch of showbiz. I was immediately drawn to the comedic elements, especially the snappy banter. It felt fresh and engaging, and I was eager to see how the romance would unfold.
What Works Well
The humor is definitely a strong point. The sibling interactions are hilarious, and the dynamic between the female lead's brother and the male lead provides plenty of comedic tension. I particularly enjoyed the female lead's self-aware moments; she's not afraid to be a little "perverted," which adds a unique and refreshing layer to her character. The story moves quickly, and the focus on the leads' secret, mutual pining kept me invested. It’s a short story, but it packs a punch with its charm and wit.
Areas of Concern
While I enjoyed the overall story, there were a few elements that gave me pause. The female lead's reliance on others, particularly when her resources were cut off, felt a bit unsettling. The potential for exploitation, even if averted by the male lead's intervention, added a darker undertone that didn't quite mesh with the otherwise lighthearted tone.

Final Verdict
Overall, "Huan Yi" is a delightful and entertaining read. The humor is sharp, the romance is sweet (and a little spicy!), and the characters are engaging. While some of the plot elements could have been handled with a bit more nuance, the story's strengths outweigh its weaknesses. If you're looking for a short, comedic romance with a touch of drama, "Huan Yi" is definitely worth checking out. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
