Right off the bat, I was intrigued by the premise. A mediocre female lead in a court rife with intrigue? It's a refreshing change from the typical "revenge-driven genius" trope. The initial chapters pulled me in, and I found myself eager to see how Fuzhu would navigate her treacherous circumstances.
