First Impressions
"A Righteous Female Knight Never Compromises!" threw me for a loop, in the best way possible. It's a wild ride blending action, adventure, comedy, and a healthy dose of, uh, other genres. The premise itself is intriguing: a female knight with a mysterious past, assassins on her tail, and a life simulator that gives her a leg up. I went in expecting a straightforward fantasy adventure, but quickly realized it was much more than that.
What Works Well
The author's storytelling is definitely a strong point. I found myself consistently entertained by the protagonist's escapades and the way she navigates the political landscape. The pacing feels pretty solid, mostly due to the MC's knowledge from her simulator, which prevents the plot from dragging. The world-building, while not overly detailed, is sufficient to paint a vivid picture and keep me invested. The protagonist herself is a compelling character, and her interactions with the other characters, particularly her love interests, are often hilarious. I also have to give props to the translator; they’ve done a fantastic job making the story flow smoothly in English.
