My Thoughts on The Villain Doesn’t Want to be Noticed
"The Villain Doesn’t Want to be Noticed" promised a fun blend of villain transmigration, omegaverse dynamics, and a dash of enemies-to-lovers romance. After diving in, I found it to be a mixed bag with moments of brilliance overshadowed by some frustrating inconsistencies.
First Impressions
I was immediately drawn in by the premise. The idea of a protagonist transmigrating into the body of a villain who actively doesn't want to be villainous felt fresh. The early chapters were engaging, particularly the interactions between the MC, Namwoon, and the ML's adorable little brother. That kid is seriously a scene-stealer!
What Works Well
The relationship development between Namwoon and the ML, Seo-oh, is definitely a highlight. It's a slow burn, and I appreciated that the ML doesn't immediately do a 180 and fall head-over-heels. Seeing Namwoon work for his affections, navigating the ML's initial "vinegar jar" attitude, made the eventual connection more satisfying. The author does a good job of creating characters with depth. Namwoon might be a bit clueless at times, but his heart is always in the right place. Plus, the smut? Let's just say it's well-written and adds a certain spice to the story.
Areas of Concern
The biggest issue I encountered was the inconsistent system. It often felt like a plot device rather than an integral part of the story. Its rules seemed arbitrary, and the punishments for going against its directives (like forcing the MC into heat) often felt illogical and more for shock value than actual plot progression. I also found myself questioning some of the MC's choices. He owns a business and a car, but he's doing food deliveries on a hot pink bicycle? It just didn't add up. The shifting character settings were also a little confusing.

Final Verdict
"The Villain Doesn’t Want to be Noticed" is a flawed but ultimately enjoyable read. If you're looking for a perfectly polished story with airtight logic, this isn't it. However, if you're willing to overlook some inconsistencies in exchange for a sweet romance, a cute kid, and some well-written smut, then you might find yourself enjoying this one. I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.
