The Richest Daughter is Three and a Half Years Old promised a fluffy, cute story, and for the most part, it delivered. It's a lighthearted slice of life, perfect if you're looking for something easy to read. However, it wasn't without its issues, and ultimately, I found myself a bit underwhelmed.
First Impressions
Initially, I was charmed. The premise is adorable: a young, OP protagonist navigating life with a system. I appreciated that the main character, MiaoMiao, actually felt like a child, rather than an adult in a kid's body. It's easy to get invested in her cute antics and the loving family dynamic. The early chapters were definitely the strongest, pulling me in with their lightheartedness and humor.
What Works Well
The writing and translation quality are definitely highlights. The story flows smoothly, making it an easy and enjoyable read. The side characters are also well-developed and add depth to the narrative. The novel also did a good job of developing the love between the ML and FL.
