- The M*rderer Targets the Brunette Lady

Description
I woke up in a novel where there existed a mu*derer who only targeted women with brown hair and green eyes. Specifically, I was also one amongst those, who possessed brown hair and green eyes. To avoid drawing too attention on myself, I lived like a potion-making machine, always confined myself in my workshop. If I could endure this for just six more months, then the original leads will appear and they will apprehend the mu*derer. It was supposed to be that way, but… “Magic Tower Master, Aeon de Gragnoux is here.” Long, dangling earrings which resembled the extended silver threads. Eyes that could immediately switch from affection to cruelty in an instant, he looked like someone, who was standing at the edge of darkness. A man more cunning and delicate than anyone else, akin to a finely crafted sculpture, slowly raised his lips. “I’ve come to take you with me.” In the violet depths of his eyes, there was a momentary flash of crimson in it. My terror seemed to amuse him, like an entertaining play unfolding before his eyes.

My Thoughts on The M*rderer Targets the Brunette Lady
Okay, let me tell you, "The M*rderer Targets the Brunette Lady" is quite the ride. I went in expecting one thing, and came out feeling like I'd run a marathon through a haunted house – exhilarating, but also slightly traumatized. This definitely isn't your typical fluffy romance.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the intriguing premise: transmigration, a handsome (and potentially dangerous) male lead, and a heroine with brown hair caught in his obsessive gaze. The European ambience was a nice touch, setting a gothic, mysterious tone. But I soon realized that this story leans heavily into the darker aspects of those tropes.
What Works Well
The mystery and thriller elements are definitely the strongest aspects of this novel. The author does an excellent job of creating a sense of unease and psychological tension. I found myself constantly questioning the male lead's motives and feeling genuinely concerned for the female lead's safety. The writing itself is also quite good, painting a vivid picture of the world and the characters' inner turmoil. The characters are realistically made, the author has created a world with real emotional depth. I will say that the plot has me hooked, and I'm eager to see where the story goes.

Final Verdict
"The M*rderer Targets the Brunette Lady" is a compelling, albeit unsettling, read. If you're looking for a lighthearted romance, this isn't it. But if you enjoy mystery, thriller, and a touch of psychological horror, with morally grey characters, then this might be right up your alley. Just be prepared to feel a little crazy along with the FL! Overall, I'd say it's a solid read with a unique and memorable story.
