Description
“Again! Again?! I’m seriously going to lose it.” An elite A-rank hunter and team leader of a major guild. But no matter how desperately he clings to life, he always ends up back in the spring of his twenty-fifth year. Over and over again. After far too many regressions, F-rank hunter Kim Doyoon finally accepts the truth staring him in the face. This world is stuck on repeat. And— This regression isn’t even for me. He’s just a speck, caught in the current of something far bigger. Now awakened to his 19th regression, Doyoon sets out to uncover the truth behind this chaotic loop—only to be approached out of the blue by S-rank hunter Yoo Seung-jae, who offers him a hand… and a spot on his team. Everything’s lining up a little too perfectly, and yet— Why does every fiber of his being scream that something is off? * * * “I came to pick you up.” “…Why?” “Because I said I would.” Yoo Seung-jae looked straight at me, beaming like the damn sun itself. That kind of smile—blinding, sincere, like it was meant only for me. And I— Bang! Shit. I slammed the door in his face out of sheer panic.

My Thoughts on Repeat Mission
"Repeat Mission" is a web novel that immediately grabbed my attention with its blend of action, fantasy, and a hint of romance. The premise of a world reset, coupled with a calm and collected protagonist, felt like a refreshing take on the hunter genre. I went in expecting a typical power fantasy, but found something much more nuanced.
First Impressions
The initial chapters pulled me right in. The mystery surrounding the world's reset and the MC's journey to uncover the truth were compelling. I appreciated the measured pace, allowing the world-building and character development to unfold naturally. The slow-burn romance aspect, with a love interest falling first, also piqued my interest.
What Works Well
What truly shines in "Repeat Mission" is its plot. The time regression aspect is exceptionally well-executed, offering a surprising twist that kept me guessing. I found the dynamic between the MC and ML particularly engaging. The ML's interest in the MC is evident, but not overbearing, and I appreciate that the MC is portrayed as a good person without being unrealistically altruistic. The characters feel grounded and their interactions are believable. The emotional and physical growth of the MC as he navigates this reset world is also a strong point. The banter between characters is also very enjoyable.
Areas of Concern
While the overall story is compelling, I did notice that the translation can be a bit rough around the edges at times. Pronoun confusion seems to be a recurring issue, which can occasionally disrupt the flow of reading. However, the translator seems actively involved in improving the quality and very open to feedback.

Final Verdict
Despite some minor translation hiccups, "Repeat Mission" is a captivating read that I would recommend to fans of hunter-themed BL novels. The well-developed plot, engaging characters, and intriguing mysteries make it a standout in the genre. If you enjoy a slower-paced story with a focus on character development and a touch of romance, then "Repeat Mission" is definitely worth checking out.
