"One Second To Fall" promised a sweet romance with childhood sweethearts and a dash of comedic undertones. While the initial premise intrigued me, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The novel has some charming elements, but also some areas that left me wanting more.

The story kicks off with the protagonists already living together under the same roof, bound by a childhood promise of marriage. However, their interactions feel more like polite roommates than fated lovers. This setup, while unique, created a sense of disconnect for me.
