What Works Well
The dynamic between Seo-ah and Ephelinus is undeniably the highlight of the story. Her persistent attempts to seduce him, contrasted with his unwavering (at least initially) commitment to chastity, create a lot of comedic tension. The author does a good job of portraying Ephelinus as someone who is genuinely trying to do what he believes is best for Seo-ah, even if it means denying his own desires. And when those desires finally break through? Let's just say things get pretty heated. The spicy scenes are definitely a focal point, and they are written with a passionate intensity. The European-esque setting and the whole "fated lovers" trope add a nice layer of romantic fantasy to the story.
Areas of Concern
Honestly, the "ten tries" aspect feels a little arbitrary. It's more of a guiding concept than a strict rule, and the story could have benefitted from a bit more focus on the world-building and the actual dragon-slaying plot. At times, the focus on the seduction attempts overshadows the larger narrative. Also, Ephelinus's initial resistance, while understandable, can be a little frustrating at times.
