Initially, I was intrigued by the premise. A genius musician waking up in a new body, navigating a twisted family dynamic? Sounds like a recipe for compelling storytelling. However, the early chapters definitely threw me for a loop. The protagonist's passivity in the face of blatant abuse was jarring and, frankly, hard to stomach. I struggled to connect with the MC.
What Works Well
Despite the heavy themes, the author's writing style kept me somewhat engaged. The translation is also well done, which is a huge plus. The plot moves quickly, and the story is relatively short, clocking in at just 70 chapters, making it a quick read.
