Joo Hyun-ju found herself in an impossible situation, she had to marry Ji Yoon-ho an arrogant man who seemed born with rudeness ingrained in him. It was her only option. “I want to marry you, Mr. Ji Yoon-ho,” she declared, immediately feeling his gaze pierce her. “I’ve heard enough of your nonsense” he sneered, dismissing her words as trivial and absurd. “Marriage? You have no sense, no idea of your place.” His words hammered home Hyun-ju’s position. If she knew her place she wouldn’t have even dared to suggest marriage to him. Just as she was on the verge of despair she received an unbelievable call from him “Let’s do it. Let’s get married.” Their marriage began without love. Yet, at some point love quietly bloomed. Hyun-ju however found herself crumbling under the weight of a one-sided love with an uncertain future. “Let’s get a divorce” she finally said knowing she could no longer remain by his side.
