Description

I was immediately drawn in by the premise: an omegaverse setting with a protagonist pining after a seemingly oblivious alpha. The initial setup of childhood friends and one-sided affection is classic, and I found myself rooting for the MC from the start. I'm always a sucker for a long-suffering protagonist who finally decides to prioritize themselves.
What Works Well
The "chasing arc" is definitely the highlight. There's something so satisfying about watching the tables turn and seeing the previously indifferent ML suddenly scrambling for attention. I particularly enjoyed the internal conflict of the male lead, grappling with societal expectations and his own burgeoning feelings. The push and pull kept me invested, and I was eager to see him finally come to terms with his emotions. The angst was palpable, and I enjoyed the slow burn as the MC tried to move on.
