My Thoughts on I Have to Run a Business Even After Possessing Someone?!
"I Have to Run a Business Even After Possessing Someone?!" is quite the mouthful of a title, but I dove in with an open mind, and I have to say, it’s been a pretty interesting ride. This novel blends slice-of-life business management with fantasy, romance, and a dash of conspiracy, making for a unique concoction.
First Impressions
The premise is intriguing: our MC transmigrates into a novel where the real hero has been robbed of his glory. He ends up running an inn and unexpectedly picking up the pieces of the hero's shattered life. I was immediately drawn to the idea of a wholesome innkeeper healing a depressed hero. The European-inspired setting and the promise of a "cold love interest" definitely piqued my interest.
What Works Well
The MC's character is a definite highlight. I appreciate his struggles as a transmigrator, grappling with his past life and the anxieties of navigating a world he only knows through a book. It’s not all cool powers and instant success; there's genuine emotional depth here. I found myself invested in his relationships, especially with the hero. Their romance develops smoothly and maturely, which is a refreshing change of pace. The author also skillfully weaves in intricate backstories and conspiracies, keeping the plot engaging even when the inn-building aspects take a backseat. The side characters are well-developed and add layers to the story, too!
Areas of Concern
I did find some aspects a bit less compelling. The "Previous Life Talent" tag feels somewhat misleading, as the MC’s convenience store experience doesn't translate into profound business acumen beyond recipe ideas. Also, the plot does get rather complex towards the end, and I did feel like the ending could've been more fleshed out, leaving me with a few unanswered questions about the motivations and actions of a certain antagonist.

Final Verdict
Despite some minor issues, "I Have to Run a Business Even After Possessing Someone?!" is an enjoyable and well-written novel. The intriguing plot, the endearing relationship between the MC and ML, and the exploration of identity and fate make it a worthwhile read. If you enjoy transmigration stories with a focus on character development, romance, and a touch of intrigue, then I'd recommend giving this one a try.
