- I Became An Omega OB/GYN

Description
“Amazing. Republic of Korea. You’ve finally managed to break the instinct of living creatures to leave behind their genes and ruined my hospital! Yes, yes. Excellent. You are the first nation to overcome the instinct to reproduce.” Kwon Minseong’s Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic was ruined. Beyond saving. “Go!” “Send me! Send me! Please send me!” No matter how much he thought about it, men should be able to get pregnant too. “Please send me to a world where men can be pregnant!” And as he wished, as he spoke, Kwon Minseong fell into “that world.” A world where men become pregnant.

My Thoughts on I Became An Omega OB/GYN
First Impressions
Okay, so "I Became An Omega OB/GYN" is a wild ride from the get-go. The premise alone – a hardened, modern-day doctor transmigrating into an omegaverse as an OB/GYN – had me hooked. I dove in expecting a unique blend of medical drama, omegaverse dynamics, and hopefully, some good humor. And honestly, the initial chapters delivered on that promise.
What Works Well
The protagonist is definitely a highlight. I found him to be a refreshing take on the typical transmigration character. He's jaded, doesn't take crap from anyone, and his no-nonsense attitude is hilarious when contrasted with the fantastical world he's thrust into. His medical knowledge and modern sensibilities create some genuinely funny and interesting situations as he navigates the intricacies of being an OB/GYN in this omegaverse. The misunderstandings trope is played well, adding another layer of humor to the story. The magical technology aspect also adds a unique flair that keeps the worldbuilding fresh.
Areas of Concern
Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room: the Male Lead. I have to admit, I found him to be quite problematic. His behavior and the way he treats others, especially those he deems beneath him, raised some serious red flags for me. While I understand he's an emperor, his arrogance and condescending attitude made it difficult for me to root for his relationship with the MC. I struggled to find any redeeming qualities in his character early on.

Final Verdict
"I Became An Omega OB/GYN" has a lot going for it. The MC is fantastic, the premise is unique, and the humor is on point. However, the ML's character is a significant drawback, at least in the beginning. If you can tolerate a morally questionable ML, the story might be worth checking out for its other strengths. Otherwise, proceed with caution! I'm still debating whether I'll continue reading, hoping for some character development for the ML, or if I'll ultimately drop it due to my reservations.
