Description
“Please make my husband love me, even in his death.” Upon the statue that grants wishes, Renier wished for the love of her cheating husband. However, in a bizarre turn of events, she accidentally died in his hands. When she opened her eyes again, Renier had returned to right before she completed her wish. Though of all moments, it just happened to be mid-sentence, specifically after she spoke the word ‘husband’. Wishes could not be changed or stopped midway, and in a flustered state, Renier blurted out the first word that came to mind. “Please make my husband… you!” As she was wondering whether or not the wish could even be granted, the statue shattered and an incredibly handsome man came out. Naked. “Very well. I, the great Veldemer, am your husband from this moment on.” However, according to the king’s decree polygamy is liable to 10 years of prison. Thus, while keeping things a secret, Renier is faced with the choice of either divorcing her cheating husband, or sealing Veldemer back into a statue.

My Thoughts on I Am Living In Two Houses
"I Am Living In Two Houses" is... well, it's certainly a unique experience. Diving into this web novel felt like stepping into a whirlwind of plot points, quirky characters, and a hefty dose of the bizarre. While I can appreciate a story that dares to be different, I'm left with mixed feelings about whether it all quite comes together.
First Impressions
My initial reaction was a blend of intrigue and confusion. The premise is undeniably captivating: a female lead caught between her zombie husband and a cursed wizard statue who becomes her second husband. It's the kind of setup that promises a wild ride, and in many ways, it delivers. However, the execution occasionally feels a bit disjointed, leaving me struggling to fully grasp the narrative threads.
What Works Well
The sheer audacity of the plot is a definite strength. The author isn't afraid to throw curveballs, and there's a certain charm in the absurdity of it all. I found myself chuckling at the ridiculous situations the female lead finds herself in, and the romance aspect, particularly the evolving relationship with the statue-wizard, has potential. The comedic timing, when it lands, is genuinely funny.
Areas of Concern
My main concern lies in the pacing and clarity. At times, the story feels rushed, with plot points introduced and resolved with little breathing room. This can make it difficult to fully invest in the characters and their motivations. Additionally, some elements, like the blackmail subplot, felt somewhat out of place and detracted from the overall enjoyment.

Final Verdict
"I Am Living In Two Houses" is a mixed bag. It has moments of brilliance, humor, and genuine romantic potential. However, the messy plot and occasional pacing issues hold it back from reaching its full potential. I'd give it a tentative 3 out of 5 stars. It's a story that might appeal to readers who enjoy unconventional plots and aren't afraid of a little chaos, but be prepared for a bumpy ride.
