What Works Well
One of the strongest aspects of "Follow Your Heart" is the dynamic between the two leads, Roderick and Lee-jae. Their banter is genuinely funny, and their connection feels authentic. I found myself eagerly anticipating their interactions, and their relationship became the heart of the story for me. The author did a great job of creating a believable and engaging romance.
I also appreciated the world-building. The European-inspired setting felt well-developed, and the supernatural elements were seamlessly integrated into the narrative. The author managed to balance the lighter, comedic moments with the more serious themes of treason and the supernatural, creating a story that felt surprisingly well-rounded.
