My Thoughts on Dear Duke
"Dear Duke" promised a heady mix of aristocracy, romance, and a touch of European charm, and while it delivered on some fronts, it ultimately left me with mixed feelings. The premise, hinting at a complex marriage and potential love triangles, certainly piqued my interest. However, the execution stumbled in ways that made it a somewhat frustrating read.
First Impressions
I was initially drawn in by the promise of a strong female lead navigating the intricacies of noble society and a strained marriage. The setting, steeped in European ambience, felt atmospheric and well-realized. I anticipated a story brimming with passion, intrigue, and emotional depth.

Unfortunately, the romantic aspect of the story fell flat for me. I struggled to connect with the male lead, and the development of their relationship felt rushed and unconvincing.
