The premise is pretty standard transmigration fare: our MC finds himself in the body of a scum shou who's done a number on our ML. The story kicks off with the divorce papers already on the table, setting the stage for the MC's wife-chasing journey. It's a familiar setup, but I was intrigued to see how the author would handle the redemption arc.
What Works Well
The strongest point of this novel is undoubtedly the MC. He's described as a "sunny gem," and I have to agree. His efforts to win over the ML are genuinely entertaining, and I loved his shameless flirting and the way he'd use his wealth to smooth things over. Many readers praised the slow burn of the relationship and how the ML gradually melts from an ice block into a doting partner. The side characters were also a highlight for me. I appreciated how they were fleshed out and weren't just cardboard cutouts. The original protagonists of the novel the MC transmigrated into also weren't evil or villainous, which was a nice change of pace.
