My Thoughts on Wounded Ego

"Wounded Ego" is definitely a story that evokes strong reactions. Diving in, I immediately understood why. The premise is intriguing, with a focus on flawed characters navigating a world defined by alpha/omega dynamics, but the execution seems to be a sticking point for many. It's a short, complete story, which is a plus for those who like a quick read, but also seems to be a detriment to the depth of the story.
What Works Well
Despite the criticisms, there are elements that shine. The straightforward nature of the plot was appreciated by some, and the ending, though rushed, did leave some readers with a sense of satisfaction.
