My Thoughts on The Obsessive Regressor of The Academy
First Impressions
Okay, so "The Obsessive Regressor of The Academy" definitely caught my eye with that title. I dove in expecting a wild ride of time-loop shenanigans and maybe some yandere-esque tendencies. What I found was... well, a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest. The premise is intriguing, and the world-building has potential, but I think the execution stumbles in a few key areas.
What Works Well
The protagonist is undoubtedly a strong point. I found myself drawn to his character and his journey, even when the plot got a little convoluted. I appreciated the detailed descriptions of the magic system; it felt well-thought-out and immersive. The academy setting itself is classic fantasy fare, but the author manages to add enough unique elements to keep it interesting. The action sequences are also quite well done, and I found myself invested in the fights.
Areas of Concern
The romance aspect, however, felt a little forced. It seemed shoehorned in, disrupting the flow of the story and detracting from the more compelling aspects of the plot. Instead of enhancing the narrative, the romantic elements felt like a distraction, almost as if they belonged in a different story altogether.

Final Verdict
Overall, "The Obsessive Regressor of The Academy" has a lot of potential, but it needs some refinement. The strong protagonist, well-developed magic system, and engaging action sequences are definite positives. However, the forced romance and potentially convoluted plot points hold it back from being a truly great read. I'd give it a cautious recommendation for those who enjoy academy settings and strong protagonists, but be aware that the romance might not be everyone's cup of tea.
