I dove into "The Huntress is the Wolf’s Bride" expecting a dark fairytale twist, perhaps something akin to Red Riding Hood. While the cover and initial premise hint at that familiar folklore, I quickly realized the similarities were superficial. But that wasn't necessarily a bad thing!

The story immediately sets itself apart by establishing the female lead as a capable huntress, not a damsel in distress. This subversion of typical fairytale tropes definitely piqued my interest. The male lead, a wolf, is portrayed as more of an endearing "puppy," which created an interesting dynamic. I was curious to see how their relationship would unfold.

The dynamic between the huntress and the wolf is undeniably the strongest aspect of this novel. The author does a good job of portraying the ML as a cute and devoted partner.
