My Thoughts on Open the Door

"Open the Door" is a web novel that certainly left me with mixed feelings. Diving into this blend of action, fantasy, and mature themes, I found myself both captivated and frustrated at different points. While the premise held promise and the characters had potential, some aspects held it back from being a truly stellar read.

First Impressions

Initially, I was drawn in by the unique concept of the guideverse and the dynamic between the two male leads. The story starts off quite heavy, so be prepared for some darker themes right away. I appreciated the promise of character development, especially for the main character who starts off quite hostile.
