I was immediately drawn to the female lead, Aneta. Her composure and strength in the face of her ex-husband, Carlos, made her a compelling character. Starting the story post-divorce immediately throws you into the thick of things, and I was eager to see how Aneta would navigate this new chapter. The setup is intriguing, and I was curious to see how the author would explore the complexities of a broken marriage and the potential for reconciliation.
What Works Well
The dynamic between Aneta and Carlos is undeniably the heart of the story. The author does a good job portraying Carlos's efforts to win back his ex-wife, using flirtation and persistence.
