When confronted by the Emperor himself and asked about the incident, he gave a false confession—claiming he had tried to r*pe the Empress. He accepted his fate, preparing himself for execution. But instead of dying, Ji-cheong lost consciousness and awoke in an unfamiliar palace, surrounded by a fence of thorns. “Don’t run away from me… You chose me, Yerak.” Cheong’s fingertips trembled with fear. But the Emperor didn’t retaliate with cruelty. Instead, he brought Cheong’s fingers to his lips, bit into them, and s**ked the blood without hesitation. He didn’t seem disturbed by the taste or the blood on his hands. Then, as if releasing his anger, he bit the back of Cheong’s neck—chewing the skin. His body, muscular and stiff, didn’t ease the Emperor’s excitement. On the contrary, he became more aroused. His eyes flushed red with desire, and an intense thirst overtook him. Cheong’s hair, soaked with blood and sweat, clung to his nape. The Emperor gently combed his fingers through it and placed a kiss on the wound he had created. Blood began to stain the corners of his lips, like flower water. “Huh… haah, ah, ugh…” Time lost meaning. Cheong’s strength slowly faded as the pain overtook him.
