Description

Overall, I found it to be a delightful read, perfect for curling up with on a cold winter night.
First Impressions
The premise is fairly straightforward: a hard-working office worker, our protagonist, harbors a secret crush on his supervisor. The office setting immediately grounded the story in a relatable reality, and the Christmas theme added a layer of cozy charm. I was quickly drawn into the protagonist's pining and eager to see how this office romance would unfold.
What Works Well
The story shines in its depiction of a developing, mature relationship. The interactions between the MC and ML were undeniably sweet and often brought a smile to my face. The author did a great job of creating a believable dynamic between a subordinate and his boss, navigating the complexities of their professional and personal lives. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the work environment, making the story feel authentic. The portrayal of consent was also well-handled, which is always a huge plus in my book.
