"A Tyrant Husband Has Come To See Me" presents a classic fantasy romance setup with a dash of amnesia and a brooding male lead. While the premise has potential, my overall impression is a bit mixed.

First Impressions

The initial chapters drew me in with the mystery surrounding the female lead's lost memories and the dynamic between her and her child. The European-inspired setting adds a nice touch of atmosphere, and the promise of "lovers reunited" hinted at a potentially heartwarming story. However, the "tyrant" aspect of the husband definitely gave me pause.

What Works Well

I also found it a bit hard to believe that the female lead, despite not being stupid, seems so blind to some of his more obvious manipulations. It stretches my suspension of disbelief. It does not help that the ML is mean to the child.
