Okay, that title is a mouthful, isn't it? Diving into Scum-less Oblige was... an experience. The premise is intriguing: reincarnated as a villain in an 18+ game, armed with knowledge of the plot, and determined to live a peaceful mob life. However, the execution left me with mixed feelings.

Initially, the concept hooked me. The idea of a character trying to subvert expectations and avoid death flags in a risqué game world is inherently appealing. I was ready for some clever strategizing and humorous social maneuvering.

Honestly, the novel shines when it embraces its comedic side. The absurdity of the premise and the potential for over-the-top situations are definitely there.
