Every infant on planet Chrome has gemini prints on their palms. Those prints match another newborn from planet Exilon. On their eighteenth birthday, they will be married to each other. His mission is to find his lost soulmate so that he can escape from the retribution of the Gods. Unfortunately, he was caught by the Legions and thrown to the Pillar’s custody. To escape death, Orion led the uprising revolution of all demon children in the Sanctuary – an Outer Space Orbiting Station at Parthenon Galaxy. "Legend of Gemini" is a wild ride, blending genres like a cosmic cocktail. Action, adventure, fantasy, mecha, romance, and sci-fi – it throws a lot at you, and for the most part, it manages to keep it all in the air. It’s definitely an ambitious project, and that ambition is part of what makes it so compelling.
First Impressions
Right from the prologue, I was hooked. The writing is solid, and the world-building is intriguing. I immediately wanted to know more about this universe teetering on the edge of cosmic war. The initial chapters do a great job of setting the stage and introducing the core conflicts and characters.
What Works Well
The sheer scope of the story is impressive. "Legend of Gemini" doesn't shy away from complex themes and intricate world-building. I particularly enjoyed the way the author explores the interplay between religion, royalty, and genetic modification in a dystopian setting.
