My Thoughts on The Villainess Who Died with a Grudge Against Everything Seems to Have Regressed, and Now She Will Live to Make the Butler Who Saved Her Happy
This title is quite a mouthful, but it definitely piqued my interest! The premise of a villainess getting a second chance and dedicating her life to the butler who saved her is undeniably appealing. I dove in expecting a heartwarming story, and I wasn't entirely disappointed.
First Impressions
Initially, I was drawn in by the "make my butler happy" trope. It's a classic for a reason, and this story seemed to offer a potentially fluffy and feel-good experience. The European ambience and the master-servant relationship also added to the charm. The initial chapters are fast-paced, immediately setting the stage for the MC's redemption arc.
What Works Well
The core strength of this novel lies in its sweet and fluffy romance. The relationship between the MC and the butler is genuinely heartwarming, and the author does a decent job of portraying their affection for each other. I found the MC's decision to forgo revenge and instead focus on creating a happy life with the ML quite refreshing. It's a welcome change from the often-trodden path of vengeance in regression stories. The novel is also a quick and easy read, perfect for when you want something light and engaging to fill your time.
Areas of Concern
While I enjoyed the overall sweetness, I did find some aspects lacking. The plot felt somewhat rushed and episodic, lacking significant depth. The MC's passive nature bothered me at times. It would have been nice to see her be more proactive in protecting herself and her relationship, especially considering her past life experiences. Also, the ending felt a bit abrupt, with the MC not actively involved in resolving the conflicts.

Final Verdict
"The Villainess Who Died with a Grudge Against Everything Seems to Have Regressed, and Now She Will Live to Make the Butler Who Saved Her Happy" is a short and sweet romance that delivers on its promise of fluff. While it may not be a groundbreaking story, it's a pleasant read if you're looking for something lighthearted and heartwarming. Just be aware that the plot is somewhat simplistic, and the MC can be a bit passive. Overall, I'd recommend it as a quick and enjoyable palate cleanser between heavier reads.
