Description
【The Most Incompetent In This World】―it was the gift Kai Heineman received from the Divine Oracle when he was thirteen years old. Due to that gift, his physical abilities plummeted. His growth rate became the lowest in the world. Yes, the gift was supposed to make him a target of everyone’s mockery and pity. However, this gift had something that no other gift had, limitless growth. Moreover, by chains of unfortunate coincidence, Kai Heineman ended up being trapped in the worst, nightmarish dungeon. The dungeon disconnected him from the passage of time in the outside world. This allowed him to train for a really long time while just a moment passed in the outside world, without ageing even a single day. This chain of misfortunate events led to the birth of the most powerful supreme being in the world. This is the tale of the loner, whose common sense got so distorted after he spent too much time talking with his own sword that he brought out the subordinates he had subjugated in the dungeon to wreak havoc in the outside world.

My Thoughts on Saijaku Hakugai Made Sareta Kedo, Chou Nankan Meikyuu de 10 Mannen Shuugyoushita Kekka, Tsuyoku nari Sugite teki ga inakunatta~Bocchi Seikatsu Nagai Tame, Saikyou Dearu Koto no Jikakunaku Musouitashimasu
Okay, let's tackle this behemoth of a title. "Saijaku Hakugai Made Sareta Kedo..."—yeah, I'm just going to call it "Weakest Dungeon" for short. It's a story about a bullied protagonist who gets super strong after spending an absurd amount of time in a ridiculously difficult dungeon. Sounds like a fun power fantasy, right? Well, it's a mixed bag, to say the least.
First Impressions
Initially, I was intrigued. The premise of a weakling enduring intense training and emerging as an overpowered being is a classic for a reason. I was ready for some satisfying face-slapping and watching the MC overcome his past tormentors. However, the execution seems to falter as the story progresses.
What Works Well
The initial dungeon arc seems to be where the story shines. The concept of Kai, the MC, developing an alien mindset after his extended isolation and training is interesting. Some readers appreciated that he's more cunning than he appears, capable of plotting when he puts in the effort. The story sets up a world where the MC grows from being intentionally wimpy to someone stronger, and there's a transition back to the real world after his training arc.
Areas of Concern
Unfortunately, the biggest problem seems to be the MC's personality shift after leaving the dungeon. The author merges the MC's pre-dungeon self with his dungeon self. I can see why some readers found this frustrating, as it leads to the dreaded "OP MC unaware of his own strength" trope. He defeats incredibly strong opponents but then dismisses their power, which becomes repetitive and annoying. This disconnect, where he's supposedly a battle-hardened warrior but acts like a timid pushover, is a major turn-off.
The quality drops, the chapters become short, and the plot gets filled with unnecessary conflicts. Some readers have also criticized the writing style, especially the POV switches and the focus on side characters to the point of overshadowing the MC. I can see how that would disrupt the flow and make it hard to stay invested.

Final Verdict
"Weakest Dungeon" has potential, but it ultimately stumbles due to inconsistent character development and a reliance on frustrating tropes. The initial premise is engaging, and the dungeon arc has its moments, but the execution after the MC leaves the dungeon leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're willing to tolerate some significant flaws. It's a 2.5/5 for me.
