Description
Jenna’s hatred towards Dex Peralta started since he has played with her because of an interview she has to get from him for their campus paper. That’s why she has to make a move to make him agree to take the interview. She has to change herself so he’ll take notice of her. But that seems to be the root reason for him to play with her heart. Fast forward to the present time. Jenna was now a media person. And it seems that history is repeating itself. With Dex’s come back to the basketball scene, she has to take an interview with him, again. But she has learned her lessons. This time, she would not let her heart be played by Dex again.

My Thoughts on An Interview With a Playboy
Alright, let's dive into "An Interview With a Playboy." I went into this one with an open mind, ready for some lighthearted romance, but I came away with mixed feelings. It's definitely a story that will appeal to a specific type of reader, and whether that's you really depends on your preferences.
First Impressions
The premise is pretty straightforward: a reporter trying to snag an interview with a notorious playboy. It's a classic setup, and the initial chapters definitely lean into that familiar trope. It's got that published book feel, which isn't a bad thing, but it does give it a different pacing than some of the more rapidly updated web novels I'm used to.
What Works Well
If you're a fan of Harlequin-style romances, this might be right up your alley. The story focuses on the dynamic between a strong-willed woman and a ridiculously popular, wealthy guy, and it explores their relationship in a steady, deliberate way. The story isn't overly long, so if you want something quick and easy to read, it might be worth checking out.
Areas of Concern
Honestly, I struggled to really connect with the characters. The male lead comes off as a bit snobbish and unappreciative, while the female lead sometimes feels reckless. The plot progression also felt a bit slow. I kept waiting for something significant to happen, but it seemed to drag its feet a bit. The plot felt very familiar, like other similar stories.

Final Verdict
"An Interview With a Playboy" is a completed, easy read with a classic romance setup. If you enjoy Harlequin-esque stories with a focus on character dynamics over a fast-paced plot, you might find something to enjoy here. However, if you prefer more intricate plots or characters with more depth, this one might leave you wanting more. I'd say it's worth a try if you're curious, but temper your expectations going in.
